Superhero Chefs - Tuscumbia

A hidden gem in Tuscumbia! The children picked this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by their choice. Due to COVID restrictions, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table as there was only one waitress working. I was a bit hesitant after seeing the menu and prices, but the food turned out to be amazing! The portions were huge, everything was well-seasoned, beautifully presented, and delicious. We ordered the stuffed granola-encrusted French toast, a half super quesadilla and half salad, the Superhero burger, the Juggernaut burger, the War Eagle burger, and the Superchef breakfast platter (which surprisingly came in a smaller portion). I am grateful we came with our children as we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

The Superhero Chefs restaurant was excellent! The food was tasty and the service was friendly and helped us choose our dishes. The food presentation was fantastic and the decor was bright and colorful. The restroom was also clean. They have a wide variety of fun and delicious options on the menu, so we will definitely return. We ordered wings and waffles, a scriddle (stacked stuffed pancakes with candied bacon), Southern eggrolls, and the strawberry peach lemonade, which will be a favorite for my family.

The food at this restaurant is visually appealing, but be aware that everything leans towards being sweet - from the cocktails, burgers, fried cauliflower, and even the Mac and Cheese. If you prefer more savory flavors, this may not be the best place for you. The bar serves drinks made with fake sugary juices, making them overly sweet. I would recommend opting for a beer, wine, or liquor instead.

Overall this is a cool spot, especially for families with young kids. They have the superhero theme throughout the restaurant. They have lots of booths with large dividers that keeps you from hearing a ton of noise from other tables, and let?s your group have a more intimate experience. We went during an event that was going on, and they (like many restaurants) were understaffed so we had a bit of a wait. They did not take names down and that frustrated several people. We weren?t in a rush though, so we waited and enjoyed some great food! Bourbon waffles and the candyd bacon egg sandwich were our choices plus some mimosas.

This place is awesome. Beautiful downtown area. No parking meters are a plus! The portions are Hulk-sized! I ordered the extreme veggie omelet which came with hash browns, which weren't the kind of shredded, greasy, hash browns I pictured. They were nice little potatoes, lightly fried I suppose, but not too greasy. They were really good. The side of greens was a nice little salad of sorts with a delicious honey mustard style sauce. It was great as well. The omelette, was so good. Just like I like to make them at home, but bigger. Chock-full of some of my favorite veggies- squash and zucchini and caramelized onions and some roasted red peppers. Nice and cheesy. I could not finish the whole meal. You definitely get your money's worth! I ordered Sub Zero cakes to go for breakfast the next day. No ice shower here, just delicious blueberries and lemon. (The picture I am attaching is in the to go box a little bit later, I am sure the presentation at the restaurant would look way better than this picture! The staff was amazing as well. Everyone that I saw there was young, and it really made me happy to see a crew of young guy and girls, probably all in their early twenties taking care of business. Not too long ago, I was that age. My son is that age. You don't get a lot of respect from older people at that age, you have to earn it, and these guys and girls are doing a great job of that! Thank you so much for taking care of me! I didn't get a picture of the front entrance because there was a HUGE crowd outside for a local event.
