Broadway Pizzeria South - Tuscaloosa

I was surprised how good the pizza was. I tried it for the first time and I'm a fan. It is a very small, mother and pop shop, but they make really good pizza unlike Domino or Papa johns these pizzas are thin and very tasty.

Make sure to order a side of marinara! This cozy pizzeria is fantastic. I ordered the Manhattan Supreme online and all of my special requests were fulfilled perfectly. The marinara sauce was especially delicious with a unique, sweet taste.

I ordered takeout while in Tuscaloosa for parents weekend. Pizza was great. The Italian salad dressing was the best I've ever had. If anyone has the recipe, send it my way.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The pizza was fantastic and the customer service was excellent. They were even accommodating when we asked to bring in beer from the gas station next door since they didn't serve it.

I ordered the large calzone, the Manhattan Supreme (their spelling). It was a generous portion so I ended up taking home two-thirds of it. I dined in with a friend from Long Island who thoroughly enjoyed his chicken Caesar salad. As a native New Yorker, he had doubts about Alabama's ability to make good Italian food and was hesitant to go at first. However, he was pleasantly surprised and we finished our day trip to Tuscaloosa on a positive note!
