Mary Jo's Pizzeria - Turtle Creek

I haven’t eaten a Mary Jo’s pizza since the 80’s... but growing up on Churchill Rd from ‘75-88 it was a staple for our birthday parties and weekend splurges. I was just talking about it with my kids in Charleston SC and looked it up and so glad it’s still Going strong. It has a distinctive sweet sauce.. at least it did then and I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s 40 years later and I’m still talking about it.

I have been going to Mary Jo's for about 50 years. Still the same good quality as it was years ago. Had out of town guest and order several pizza's this past weekend. The pizza's were cook to perfection and everybody enjoyed the variety of toppings. If you have never been here give it a try.

After 30 years, I returned to this restaurant with my significant other, whom I consider my true love. We have dined here twice in the past year and a half, and I believe that good things come in threes. However, we will not tempt fate by ordering a third time. Unfortunately, I must admit that the food did not meet my expectations this time.

The pizza is excellent. The prices have been updated to $6, but I cannot recommend using Google Translate for editing.

I may be a bit partial, but this pizza is truly one of the best I've ever had!
