La Almazara - Turre

We have visited a few times now. On our first visit when we asked for vegan, Antonio almost implied that the food they would serve us would be boring it was not at all. Twice now we’ve asked for the paella de verdura it is very flavourful and loaded with, probably, local and in season vegetables. Sometimes they have vegan aioli (olive oil garlic with the texture of mayonnaise). Last night we, in advance, asked for a vegan dessert or postre. Antonio described it as baked apple it was much better than we expected stuffed with tasty dried fruit with a delicious, almost caramel, sugary sauce

A truly exceptional venue full of traditional rustic Spanish charm and a very attentive host who clearly has enthusiasm and a love for the delicious food he is serving. This really is a hidden gem and well worth a visit to taste authentic local food served in a tranquil setting.

What a lovely restaurant. We loved the location and the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. La Almazara has an imaginative menu with lots of thought given to ingredients and presentation. We live in Vera but were staying in El Molino with friends. It was the perfect end to a lovely holiday. We will definitely come again!

We had such a lovely time last night at Almazara. The food was absolutely awesome. 4 adults and 2 teens and something for everyone. Very sophisticated cooking and lovely flavours. The setting (we sat outside with mountain views) was fabulous. The atmosphere was lovely, the conversation was great, and the host was very special indeed. Couldn't have asked for or expected more.
