La Morenita Restaurant - Turlock

Really good and authenticWhenever I am in Turlock it's the place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I loved the cabbage they provided with the chipsSO yummy! I had a chicken quesadilla supreme with rice and beans and it was great.

We haven't eaten at the old school La Morenita in at least 15 years.

Friendly service, food is authentic and delicious. Hot and ready and didn't take long on a busy lunch hour. Lunch specials are pretty reasonable and filling. Be sure to come with an appetite because lunch specials are huge! Love the bean dip and fresh warm and crunchy chips. Always refreshing to come here and try something new. PEPSI products is a bonus and glad they serve Pepsi! It makes everything that much tasteful! I suggest try the wet burrito with green sauce, with either grilled or shredded chicken! Delicious! But this experience was with the single item lunch special and got the burrito with steak and green sauce inside. Perfect amount of food and rice was fresh and tasty along with the beans.

My first time here but this place has been here forever! Some of the best Mexican food in the valley!! Nice atmosphere. Very friendly and helpfull staff. The waitress never let my drink run dry, as I pounded down a boiling hot Molcejete! Beef, chicken, and shrimp, with a wonderful citrusy sauce with a nice kick! Perfect placenfor a date or night out!!
