Golden China - Turlock

Great spot for lunch! We visited around 3 PM and they were still offering lunch plates. At just $8.25 per plate, it’s an excellent value for a generous serving of quality food. There was a sign by the door indicating that this restaurant has been in business since 1983. If they maintain this level of service and food quality, they are sure to thrive for many more years to come.

We ordered the family meal for two, which included Won Ton soup, fried shrimp, sweet and sour pork, chow mein, and pork fried rice. Our meal was enjoyable, and we will definitely return!

The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the flavors are excellent. The service was standard. I ordered a TV dinner D with fried rice and received it for $12. If you're getting food to go, be sure to request silverware and napkins, as they don't include them automatically. Thank you!

My family has been dining at Golden China for 40 years! The food is consistently excellent, takeaway orders are always accurate, and the meals are served piping hot. The staff is always polite and welcoming. Some of my favorite dishes include the wor wonton soup, hot and sour soup, moo shu vegetables, honey walnut prawns, and broccoli beef. Honestly, everything on the menu is delicious; you can’t go wrong with any choice!

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the handmade potstickers are absolutely delicious. The chow mein is top-notch as well. This is my favorite local Chinese restaurant!
