O'charley's Restaurant Bar - Tupelo

The appetizer plate included overly hard and dry potato skins that were half-burned. We felt ignored by the staff and had to wait a long time for our food. The cod was acceptable, but the crab cake and mac and cheese were disappointing; the noodles were undercooked and the cheese sauce was watery. The potato soup was a complete letdown—just a watery mix with three pieces of potato and hardly any cheese. Most of the sides went untouched. It was frustrating when the server asked if we were still working on our meals as we clearly hadn’t enjoyed them. When we left, the door server told us to have a good day and encouraged us to return, but I responded that we wouldn’t be coming back. He didn’t reply at all. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience.

The food was tasty, but the hostess was quite rude. Our waiter seemed friendly and tried to mediate the situation, or at least that's what I thought. However, my debit card was charged unexpectedly yesterday, and I suspect the waiter may have taken advantage of it. I've kept my debit card in sight for over a year without issue. So, I recommend paying with cash to avoid any problems like I experienced. I won’t be returning here due to the dishonesty and rudeness of the staff.

I was disappointed with the price and the quantity of food. I ordered the fish and chips for $12.99, but only received six dinner rolls for one person. The fish portions were quite small, and the plate was piled high with fries to create the illusion of more food. I never received the coleslaw I requested. When I asked for malt vinegar, the waiter returned with a tiny plastic cup containing just about a teaspoon of vinegar. When I asked for more, I overheard him say, "I guess I'll bring you the bottle." Overall, I didn't have a pleasant experience, and I won't be returning.

It was a girl over the years, but today lunch was terrible. The food wasn't good. Soup was .big pieces of potatoes in a cheese sauce of varieties, sandwich bread was hard, and fried onions on nachos tasted as if the oil in which they were boiled was old. Nothing was attractive!
