Great food and wine in a fabulous setting overlooking the lake, with very friendly staff a great place to linger

One of the few restaurants on Isola Maggiore. There are seats inside and various seats outside partially covered, partially open in a garden. Some views of the lake. Friendly service. We chose it because they advertised pizzas on the board outside, the menu we got once seated didn't include these. We still ordered some pizzas which was no problem. They were fresh and tasty. Also ordered antipasto, and a pasta which was really good. Reasonable prices (around 7 euros for a large pizza). Overall recommended.

Very disappointing. Lovely garden setting but very expensive 90€ for 3 small pizzas photo shows full size and 2 pasta dishes wine . The food was far too salty, average, there was no olive oil , parmesan or even pepper except in sachets . V limited menu. Couldn't do a cheese plate, hadn't even got onions to put on a vegetarian pizza! I was offered free coffee when I complained while paying the bill. It felt as though it was acceptable to give tourists poor food as they are only there once! We however are residents and know what you should expect!!!

Travelled to the lake by boat for a day out and had a little meal here before setting off back.The restaurant is a typical family one with nice welcoming staff and a air conditioned place to eat.We only ordered pizza but it was enough as 2 fed the 4 of us.Very tasty it was too..All fresh ingredients and quite reasonable prices! Would recommend a visit.

Located on the shore of Lake Trasimeno on Isola Maggiore, this little restaurant serves delicious ZeroKilometer food (meaning they make everything in house and buy only seasonal products from local suppliers). The service was very nice, the food delicious and the bill absolutely reasonable. Summer seating is in the little garden at the rear, with nice cooling slight breeze from the lake. Buon apetito!
