Circolo Italiano Di Tunisi

Nothing special here. Standard Italian food, their pizza was okay. They also have a selection of wine and beer.

Menu only in Italian and waiter not helpful. Food average and expensive for what I got. Slow service. Fruit de mer. No crevette. Mussels or octopus. Just fish and calamari. I had scalapino with white wine. Could not taste any wine.

This place discriminated against Tunisians. I’m a foreigner and tried to go with four local friends, after seating us the waiter refused to serve us because one of us did not want to eat. We even explained that we would be ordering multiple bottles of wine. He forced us to leave humiliating us in front of the other patrons. Do not give this place your money, it represents the ugly side of Tunis that only seeks to cater to “rich” tourists.
