It appears the place does seafood in the daytime (two ladies) and meat in the eveningHaving said that they did us shrimp and fish tacos which were very goodThe caipirinhas were excellentWe were served by Anna a delightful young lady who looked after us well Very good value
We stumbled upon this little restaurant while looking for a late lunch. It has a fun and laid back atmosphere, the perfect place for a couple cervezas and good conversation. It's a bit plain looking compared to many of the hip Tulum restaurants however the FOOD WAS AMAZING! Everything was so fresh and expertly prepared. The toppings such as the pico de gallo were very well done and I could fly back right now for those coconut shrimp tacos! I never repeat restaurants on vacation but this was soooo good we had to go twice! If you only go one place for fish/shrimp tacos make sure it's here. (we only went for lunch so I can't speak to the grill they do for dinner)
We went as a group of friends hoping for some seafood because of the name. There were 10 of us and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I've been living in Tulum for 6 years and I wanted to try this fairly new restaurant that is located on a side street in downtown Tulum. As we asked for the menu, we were told by the waitress that they did not serve seafood for dinner because the restaurant transforms itself into a Mexican restaurant and serves only meat. How weird? We decided to stay and give it a try.Ordering drinks and our food was confusing to the waitress. Service was very very slow and disorganized. There were no condiments like homemade chile sauces, salt or pepper or any other snacks on the table. As some of us started to order aranchera tacos ( famous in Mexico) we were told they had no more. I ordered a fresh limonade ( agua de limon) juice, yet they did not make this either. Other friends cancelled their orders because it took so long and some never received their order.I ordered 2 chicken tacos. They came with some pieces of chicken thrown on 2 tortillas served on a blue plastic plate. Boring looking with no taste. The taco al pastor I order too was a just a piece of pork chop cut up in big pieces with some tomato sauce added. ( which is not al Pastor at all) .I didn't even eat it. Just ridiculous.I would Not recommended this restaurant to anyone. There are plenty other great options in Tulum.
Stumbled across this gem and oh boy were we stoked we did! The amaranth fish tacos were incredible and cheap.
Went here for my first Taco's in Mexico and loved it. Until now I have tried various Taco's around the Tulum/Valladolid area and have to say those were one of my favorite fish and shrimp tacos. They come with Coleslaw and different salsas. Tipp: Come before 3pm or they'll be out/closed.
