El Quinto Sol Tulum

We arrived at El Quinto Sol, late on Saturday night after travelling for almost 20 hours. We couldn't have stumbled upon a more welcoming host than Francisco. He made sure that we had everything we needed, made great conversation and made sure we were well fed even though the kitchens were closed at most of the other places we tried. We had the best food of our entire trip here, I had a beef burrito that was to die for and she had chicken tacos that were sublime. We also had the best guac on the trip (we tried the guac at every place we ate) as well as the best Mojito too!Cannot recommend El Quinto Sol more highly! Bravo!

El quinto came recommended by the people we were staying with. We were not disappointed! Beautifully cooked local Mexican cuisine at its best! the proprietor was very hospitable and friendly. Very good food and excellent value for money! thank you for making our meal with you such a great Mexican experience...including offering the giant sombreros and guns (not real) for a daft photo opportunity! Thank you thank you!!!! Will visit again for sure!!

We just came back from a week in Tulum and had the chance to try a lot of different spots both in the town side and the beach side. The Garden an Quinto sol was our first attraction, the back area is very pleasant and relaxing. The friendly service, and late hours is what brought us back for more. We ate there around midnight, and enjoyed fresh handmade drinks, burritos, and quesadillas. The poblano tacos were great. Tulum town is pretty urban, and this was an oaisis of relaxation, fresh food and good vibes. I would definately go back, and I would definitely recommend this to a friend, in fact, I just got home and sat down to write this review.

I come to El Quinto Sol whenever I am in Tulum. Everything I have eaten here is delicious and tastes fresh and homemade. The owner is very kind and always makes sure we have everything we need. I try to come here everyday even if its just for desert. It's also the only place I know in Tulum with authentic chai. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Love this place. Love the owners. Love the food. The Margaritas are honestly the best I've tried anywhere in Mexico. If you're looking for a chilled atmosphere and nice place to enjoy the most charming street in the town of Tulum, get seated out front. For more of a romantic private setting, their back patio is very charming. Highly recommended for any evening of the week...
