As for us, we were charged pesos per head for the two courses (dessert was apparently...not included for us). We were on the way to El Canaston up the street to lunch on their excellent tacos and decided to support this one-man operation instead as we liked what he's doing. We feel cheated. I understand the menu changes daily and that it would still be a decent value all things considered, but you can't jump in prices Consistency is the word.
This place is a hard to find gem but worth the hunt. Only open to pm Monday to Friday it is one of those places that you tell people about long after you visit. We will revisit a few more times to see...what else they will be serving as it is changed daily.
The good: Mediterranean-influenced food with good, simple, deep flavors; we especially liked the desserts. Good food for Tulum, though not in any way special compared to what you can easily get in much of the UK or the US. We liked the principle of the one-man operation very much. The bad: Calling pricing inconsistent, as in a previous review, is an accurate but very diplomatic expression for what feels like suckering tourists. We, too, were charged 250 pesos per head, not anything like the 90 or 100 that some others report. (It's still not outrageously bad value, but keep in mind that the portions are small and the ingredients are simple, nothing fancy.

The atmosphere and flavors here are the best in tulum. Low key, truly vitalizing tonics, great prices, and staff who care. This is the place to go for the best #beverages #Drinks #Tonics #Vitality in tulum!!!
