We were immediately greeted and had the pick of the restaurant for a table. Once seated our drink orders were taken and received promptly. The waitress informed us she would give us a minute to look over the menus. After ten minutes she had not come back to the table. She was in the vicinity and had time to greet some people in the bar, watch some TV (which was in our area), talk to the other waitress, and go in and out of the service area (with no food or drink). I didn't think we had to flag the waitress down like an ordinary diner. I left 2 dollars on the table for a tea we ordered and we walked out. To add insult to injury the other waitress informed us to have a nice day. My wife was so upset she went back in and took the 2 dollars off the table and looked directly at our waitress who was still casually talking to the other waitress. You can get better service at Denny's! We ended up at Sushi Place and received suburb service and food. It's better to eat at Prymes Steakhouse, Ti Amos's, Casa Laredo, etc. than this restaurant. Actually any restaurant in downtown is better than Trula's! It is a shame to have spent millions of dollars to renovate a jewel of a hotel and be tarnished by a subpar restaurant. The service was so lacking I can imagine what the food would have been. I am unable to recommend this restaurant since there are so many more options to choose from in downtown Tulsa.
