The hostess saw us waiting multiple times and even glanced at us twice as we got up to leave, yet she never acknowledged us. I will definitely not be returning! I have no tolerance for a restaurant that ignores its customers when there are only six people inside. Additionally, they have a sign on the table stating that a mandatory gratuity for the kitchen staff will be added to the check for both lunch and dinner. This is just absurd; all restaurants should pay their staff adequately without needing to add mandatory gratuities.
It might be time to say goodbye to this restaurant. We started with the date and chorizo appetizer ($12), which was pretty disappointing. My husband ordered the lamb chops ($40), but they were undercooked. I opted for the special Maine Lobster in Thai Curry ($35), but unfortunately, the lobster was chewy—thankfully, the dish included some Gulf shrimp to help it out. We decided to settle our bill and leave, only to find an extra $8 charge labeled as "kitchen dinner appreciation." The hostess claimed she had no idea what that charge meant and seemed embarrassed, and honestly, we felt embarrassed for choosing this restaurant in the first place.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. I always book table 10 when I have a date. The servers are fantastic, and the food is always prepared just the way I like it. The atmosphere is perfect for great conversation.
Even though it was a busy Friday evening and I am eating alone I received friendly, fairly attentive service. $50 bought me more food than I could eat! I started with a half portion of the Bleu Salad comprised of field greens, toasted walnuts, mildbleu cheese and dried blueberries all lightly kissed with a vinegarette. My entrée was Tim 's Maine Lobster Tail Nantua whichis not the classic French nantua sauce I expected (I didn 't read the menu description) but rather a lovely marsala with wildmushrooms and bay shrimp nestled next to potato gnocchi. I also requested a small steamed broccoli. Quite an indulgence forthe price! Their pizzas are quite popular. I am fond of their rissotos and have memories of a fine angelhair pasta with salmon, and an outstanding lentil salad. Their medjhool date appetizer is a definite winner too.
I was there two weeks ago with a friend. The meal was lovely my only reservation was the staff seemed clueless on how to read the cutlery. I eat European style and my friend American style. We both were chatting away with our cutlery in the respectiveresting position the waitress came up to our table and proceeded to remove our plates. We both said no we are still eating. Whenit came to dessert I asked for a spoon to accompany my fork and the waitress asked why would I do that. I think you should trainyour staff in dining etiquette and client relations
