Port City Diner - Tulsa

I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered chicken tenders along with okra and onion rings, but when I received my meal, it was burnt and cooked in old grease. The staff seemed surprised when I returned it. In the end, my partner and I had to share his meal instead. Even with just one meal and two drinks, we ended up spending $30, which only included six shrimp (not the large size advertised on the menu), coleslaw, and onion rings. I would recommend saving your money.

This diner is a great spot for hardworking folks, boasting a menu that caters to all tastes! The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, especially the $6.99 Early Bird Breakfast. They also offer lunch specials every day. Don’t miss out on the freshly made onion rings—they're a must-try! I opted for a hearty club sandwich loaded with meat and had the delicious onion rings on the side. The club sandwich was exceptional, featuring thick layers of meat nestled between buttered toast, topped with lettuce and tomatoes. The mayo was served on the side but wasn't really necessary. My wife enjoyed a thick, juicy burger paired with crinkle-cut fries. The photos speak for themselves—just take a look! The diner itself is small and clean, with a charming, old-fashioned counter and booths. The staff is friendly and attentive; the waitresses seem to know everyone, and even if they don’t, they treat all patrons like old friends. Be sure to check out the extensive menu; there’s something for everyone. And remember—don’t skip the onion rings!

The wait for our food was excessive, and the service was not up to par. It seemed like everyone else received their meals while we sat there for over an hour without ours. They really need to improve their efficiency.

My family ate here on our trip back from AR to OKC because of the convenience to the highway and were SO pleasantly surprised. The staff were so welcoming and sweet to our baby boy who’s not quite a year old. Our server even had toys on hand for him to play with at the table. Eating out with little ones can be stressful, especially while on long trips, but our baby loved having all that attention and the food was actually AMAZING. Best waffle I’ve had and everything was cooked perfectly. Everyone working there seems to genuinely care that you have a great visit and that kind of thing really matters. We’ve decided to make it our regular stop whenever we make this trip again.
