Oklahoma Style Bar-B-Q - Tulsa

Average As part of my bbq restaurant visits in Tulsa, today visited Oklahoma Style BBQ which is situated in North Tulsa. Ordered the 2 meat mixed dinner(ribs, sliced beef) along with 2 sides(baked beans, potato salad). The order took maybe 5 10 mins to be fulfilled. Picked up from the counter. The ribs were chewy and were not falling off the bone so I didn’t like it much since I prefer tender ones. Sliced beef was just ok. Its not thinly sliced but flavor was ok. The baked beans and potato salad were good. Loved the hot bbq sauce. Overall I would call it Average.

Great service, awesome green beans and greens. Spacious eating area. Had spare ribs and chopped brisket. Flavor was good, but the meat was a bit dry. Maybe it's because it was later in the day?

While I don't eat meat anymore, this is still our go to when our carnivore friends and family visit. My cousin was in from TX and we had to bring him. The best of the best.

I've been going to the restaurant and the one previously for over 40 years. And nothing has changed. It's wonderful. Food is great. Service is great. Atmosphere is great. I love it. I moved to Houston for 40 years and would always make the stop if close to Tulsa.

Good food but they almost never answer the phone so it's kept us from ordering many times.
