We often enjoy Asian cuisine, and this dish is supposed to be cooked in a sweet and sour sauce with green peppers, onions, carrots, and more. Even my poodle would turn it down! It was terrible. Please avoid the days when the chef isn't at their best. Food rating: 1/5.
We recently discovered this restaurant and were absolutely delighted by both the food and the service. The prices are very reasonable, and we ended up taking home half of our meal to enjoy the next day, as the portions are quite generous. On top of that, they have a dessert bar with ice cream! The cashew chicken was the best I’ve tasted in Tulsa! Overall, I give the food a perfect 5 out of 5.
One of the most remarkable features of New Royal Dragon is its surprisingly affordable prices. As someone who loves good food but is also mindful of my budget, I was thrilled to discover a place that offers extraordinary dishes without breaking the bank. It's uncommon to find a restaurant that achieves such a perfect balance between quality and affordability, and New Royal Dragon does just that. Now, let's talk about the highlight of my visit: the food. Every dish I tasted was a burst of authentic flavors that whisked me straight to the heart of China. The menu at New Royal Dragon is extensive, featuring a variety of regional specialties that cater to all tastes. Whether you're a fan of spicy Szechuan cuisine, subtle Cantonese dishes, or traditional Beijing fare, you're sure to find something that delights your palate. One standout dish for me was the traditional Kung Pao Chicken. The tender pieces of chicken were perfectly complemented by the heat of dried chilies, crunchy peanuts, and a savory sauce that created an exquisite balance of flavors and textures. Additionally, their crispy duck was phenomenal—succulent meat wrapped in a delicate, crispy skin, served with soft pancakes and an array of condiments. The service at New Royal Dragon was exceptional as well, with friendly and attentive staff eager to offer recommendations and ensure that every need was met. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests added a personal touch to the dining experience, making me feel truly valued. Despite the low prices, New Royal Dragon does not skimp on the quality and freshness of its ingredients. Each dish was carefully prepared, and the attention to detail shone through in every bite. Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado of Chinese cuisine or someone looking to try something new, New Royal Dragon will leave you satisfied and eager to return. In conclusion, New Royal Dragon is a hidden gem that beautifully combines affordable prices with an enjoyable culinary adventure through the diverse flavors of China. With its outstanding food, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in search of an authentic and budget-friendly Chinese dining experience. Don't miss out on the delicious offerings waiting for you at New Royal Dragon!

Finally a really good Chinese spot in south Tulsa! New Royal Dragon is tucked away in a shopping corner, but it is definitely worth checking out. Our family has struggled to find a Chinese spot nearby that we like, and we are so glad we found this place. They are fast, friendly and accommodating. Inside has a vibe that they tried to really make it feel like a true Chinese restaurant. A lot of them around here feel just like they threw tables and chairs in but they don't want you sitting. At New Royal Dragon it is nice because they keep the waiting and pick up area separate from the dining area.I really love the lo mein here. It's never too salty but has great flavor. Also a big fan of the beef or chicken with broccoli. They have huge pieces of crisper broccoli and generous amounts of meat and the brown sauce is perfect.
