Amazing food!!! Loved the pastor tacos menudo!!! Truly authentic Mexican food. People were very friendly too!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. eating was from this world. I'm from new mexico. I am very hesitant when restaurants claim to be authentic. I am in the rule disappointed because their sign says authentic mexican and I end up with Tex-Mex. Molcajete hasn't disappointed! I am definitiw back.

Unbelievably delicious and authentic. Prices are reasonable and great location. Service is ok.

Now onto the food—oh my goodness! I had the al pastor (marinated pork) and carne asada sopes, and they were nothing short of amazing! Juicy, flavorful, and definitely enough for two people! My partner had the large pozole, which was incredible and came in a huge bowl. It even had radishes—what a sign of authenticity! The kids, aged 4 and 6, had the chicken tacos, which were also quite good, although a bit basic. We also tried the cóctel campechana (shrimp and octopus cocktail), and I've never had octopus that was so tender, paired with shrimp that was cooked to perfection—especially in a cocktail! We've changed our future travel plans just to drive more than an hour out of our way to eat here every six months!
