Karl's Famous Burgers - Tulsa

This is a fantastic little burger place! It was my first time visiting, and I'm so glad I decided to try it. My son and I stopped by for lunch, and he ordered the bacon burger.

I spent the whole night feeling nauseous, and I can’t pinpoint the cause, but it was the only thing I ate. The food was excellent, though my only complaint is that there were only a few soda options available, as many were out of order. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had my meal to go, so I can't really comment on the atmosphere, but even though no one was dining inside, it looked cute and cozy.

The charming owner, Mohamad, runs a small yet efficient kitchen. You can watch him through a steamed plexiglass partition, resembling a mad scientist as he dons a face mask, completely absorbed in his craft. He shows no mercy to the beef patties, applying pressure with a burger press to ensure they sizzle perfectly on the hot grill for that irresistible crispy finish. Meanwhile, he carefully monitors the fryers as the raw potatoes transform into a delightful golden brown. This seamless process has resulted in countless delicious meals served to satisfied customers. When he took over the restaurant, it was called Karl's, a name it had carried through a few ownership changes. Mohamad chose to keep the name because changing the sign was too costly. While Karl may have initially made the restaurant popular, it’s Mohamad who has maintained its fame. Down home delicious. Freshly cooked burgers, freshly fried sides, overall great value.

Nice, quiet, and peaceful place with the most bomb burgers around. No fancy getup. Just good ol fashioned real burgers.
