Hey Mambo - Tulsa

We were here twice last Saturday We stopped in for cocktails as we were waiting for Pokey LaFarge to play at Guthrie Green.

Great establishment! Love the food and love the employees. My wife and my favorite waiter is Jordan, he's always taken great care of us! Highly recommend!

I love that Hey Mambo has a patioIt is hard to find in the downtown area where I live and theirs is perfection! Every pizza is great.

In town visiting. Hard to decide where to eat because well let's be honest the best part of traveling is the food. I also ignore all reviews good and bad because I like to decide on my own. Today they had a special of lasagna. It had veggies and it was unique. The flavor was savory and each bite was popping with spices. My one complaint and it is one that really gets me going is canned food. The mushrooms were canned! I expect my food to be fresh and not frozen or canned. If I wanted that I would go to my son or daughters house as they still do not know how to prepare food correctly. Please fix this. The food was good but please provide fresh and not rubber.

I was really hesitant to eat here based on the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised!! We were greeted by two gentleman who allowed us to pick any spot we wanted. Very friendly! If you are expecting bread or rolls, their bread sticks are real crispy.. and like a centerpiece and we were unsure if they were edible! I started with the wedge salad and it was so good! The dressing was delicious! My husband had the marsala chicken and he loved it! It has a thicker tomato sauce than a normal marsala sauce. I ordered the chicken scallopini. It was a HUGE serving. Enough to take plenty home! The sauce was delicious! I just wish there was a little more. And the chicken was so much better than typical Italian restaurant scallopini. It was a nice breast that had been grilled or pan seared. We took home the chocolate cheesecake that was good as well. Our server was very attentive! Overall great experience! I can't wait to go back!
