We followed the recommendation of a friend who likes to dive here. It did not meet our expectations. The room was okay. We had already booked the superior version and there were still no proper sheets, only one call, no fridge and no shampoo or body laundry. In a 3 star hotel we would have expected that. The system smells a bit rancid (can be due to the many neoprene suits). The staff at the restaurant seems super unmotivated and unfriendly. We were really surprised that we were not used to our Bali vacation. The fun diving guides have brought out the experience again, so the two stars. The instruction and the two dives were super cool and professional.

When you come to Bali for diving, this place is the best rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5.

The second time for Matahari! And had a fantastic time! We dived with Kadek, he was great. So much macro life found for us! Too good! Food is very delicious at Matahari! You do Thai food really good (very close to authentic). Just good food everywhere! Activities nearby: Diving!!!! Tulamben is great for macro dives! Walkability: Not much in the area. Better rent scooters and maybe go to Amed. Drinks: So delicious!!! The whole food was delicious, not a complaint fresh juices and smoothies also fantastic!

I was only at the restaurant howeever my experience was so far the worse from Bali. It was the first time that I didn't eat the meal as it was just no good. I asked for reccomendation and ordered a squid, unfortunately it was not fresh and I didn't like it at all. After eating I was waiting for the service over half an hour although there weren't many customers. Finally I just went to the cashier myself to pay. Good to know that it was the most expensive dinner I've had so far as they put additional 16% for tax and service. Not the best experience for me.
