I initially wanted to try Jazzes, but since they were closed, I opted for the Ethiopian restaurant instead. I ordered the Injera rolls stuffed with bell peppers, and I really enjoyed the injera—it had a great flavor. The dish also came with a salad and potatoes. I plan to return to check out Jazzes!
All the women working here are incredible—friendly and talented chefs. Most of the stands offer several vegan options, and the chefs are always open to discussing modifications based on available ingredients. I had a dish from the Cambodian stand that wasn't even on the menu; the chef made me a delicious vegan stir-fry with tofu and rice that was fantastic. Make sure to check the Spice Bridge website for the latest schedule of which stands are open on any given weekday. The interesting thing about this place is that if you come back on a different day, you might discover a completely different selection of dishes! Please come and support these businesses! They've been hit hard by the pandemic like so many others, but they’re doing something truly wonderful and serving up delicious food at the same time. They also offer catering with a minimum order of 12 boxes, but you'll need to give them a week's advance notice.
This place is amazing! I would recommend you to go here. they had many vegan options. we had jazzes!
As others mentioned, the spice bridge is a space with rotating food providers. we visited on Friday and had happy to be able to eat in jazze’s at lunchtime and had: boulane gluten-free mandel flour based baked goods somewhat similar to Indian paratha, and served with a similar green chutney and yogurt on the side. We had 2 pieces filled with kartoffel and wobbles and 2 filled with pumpkin. so good! burani bratschwein with seasoning and a flat brot on the side. served with yogurt up, which can be omitted to make it vegan. ashak that was my favorite: laekknödel with seasoned lenses (open company like chana dal) and yogurt (which again, if omitted, makes the dish vegan). wow, I could eat all day! it somehow reminds me of Turkish manti, but I really liked that better, the tomaten spiced lenses really over the top. I was super cheated to see that jazze’s not on Sunday when we swing back on these wise, but we will dive in to try one of the other providers I’m sure. updated by previous review on 2021 11 05
Spice Bridge houses four start-up restaurants each day. The day I went WUHA, Ethiopian food, had a veggie injera roll and veggie sandwich on the menu. Wengavegetables. (Philipino) served Pancit Bihon, thin pan-fried noodles with wegetables.. Moniques Hot Kitchen had veggie dumplings. I sampled all and they were great! A fabulous lunch and a good cause.
