Kalendar - Tübingen

An awsome yufkovac kebab, great homemade dough for tortillia, awsome meat - vegetables ratio, they hear your wishes and the portion is large. Service is fast even when crowded and prices are reasonable (4,30€ for yufka kebab). You can sit down and eat normally. They also have toilets, and you can sit outside if you want. You can also buy drinks from vending machine. But they just had one type of meat: beef. Maybe they usually serve chicken too but i didn't see it on my visit. Overall, the second best yufka i've had in my life.

I went here b/c of the great reviews on Trip Adviser but had a very different experience! There was a long line which I did not mind but once it was our turn the person serving us was quite rude when I did not understand what they were saying right away. I also noticed him picking his nose before handling our meals! The food tasted fine but not as good as at the place across the street (we had to go to another place b/c my husband would not eat his "doner" after this experience. Also the portions were smaller than at the other doner place we went to.

I live in Tübingen and eat at kalendar often because the food is fast the, they make their doner and kebab breads fresh (instead of heating up store bought breads), and it is very convenient when your downtown. They also have good spicy sauce that you can add which is very good and a little spicy. I recommend it to anyone.

A very popular kebap shop at the side of Neckar river. The kebap is tasty.The staff keep a good hygiene, which means they will wash hands after collecting the money, which a lot of the other kebap shops don't.The staff speaks very little English.

The food at Kalendar is good, and the service is fast and friendly. The location is especially convenient for grabbing a meal on the way to the train station, or a sandwich to eat along the river.
