I’m not sure if it gets busier during the morning or early afternoon hours. They have a small outdoor patio, but be mindful that you might end up in direct sunlight at certain times. Parking isn't an issue, as there's ample space in the shopping plaza's parking lot. We opted for the bottomless mimosas, which were a decent deal, but they only offered one flavor, and frankly, it wasn't very good. Still, we decided to make the most of it and drink up. There are other establishments with much better flavored mimosas. I ordered the avocado toast, which was fairly good. It came topped with street corn; while it was decent, I’ve definitely had better. The service could use some improvement. Our server was very friendly, but she seemed overwhelmed despite there being only about three tables occupied at that time. On a positive note, the restaurant has a large kitchen staff, which allows for quick food delivery. There’s also a separate bar area for those just looking to enjoy drinks. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated.
I absolutely love the atmosphere of this restaurant! It's very laid-back and welcoming. I ordered the steak salad and apple pie, and both dishes were fantastic. The apple pie, in particular, was quite a sight to behold. However, I was let down by the crab cakes, which had too many bits of shell and didn’t taste fresh. I would skip those next time, but the other dishes we had were excellent. The service was perfect—attentive but not overly intrusive. They also offer a full bar with a great selection of creative cocktails.
The beet and goat cheese salad was incredible! Unfortunately, they were out of lobster ravioli, which I was looking forward to trying. Since it was Tuesday, lobster day, I opted for the lobster roll, but it was just alright. The bacon overshadowed the flavor of the lobster. They do have a great selection of local wines. I’ll definitely be returning to try that lobster ravioli!
I had the prime rib and an appetizer of Brussel sprouts. I was surprised to find that the prime rib was so good that I could cut it with a butter knife very easily. It was better than the prime rib at El Corral (which is widely known fortheirs). Customer service was great and the menus give a rustic, old fashioned feel. It has a little history of how therestaurant was born into existence. The food prices range from pouper to prince, so anyone with all budgets can enjoy theirdining experience. They also have a wide variety of things to choose from. Will definitely be back when I come back to Tucson!
Excellent and ample servings. I had the Chicken Salad Croissantwich (they make their own croissants) which was tasty and came with a large amount of fries. My companion opted for the Dutch Breakfast which he really enjoyed. Nice building, excellent, friendly waitress. Will definitely return.
