Panera Bread - Tucson

I came in here to pick up dinner for a friend and myself. They had a perfectly delightful gentleman named Bill working at their counter last evening. I mentioned that I'd never been to a Panera before, just had their catering which I liked. He welcomed me heartily and proceeded to explain how well their foods are made, no preservatives, if you buy a loaf of bread, you must eat it because it will not last. He said that at the end of every single night they box up everything unsold and 7 different food pantries pick up each night of the week. He was so enthusiastic about working for this company. I hope someone from Panera recognizes what a gem they have in this kind gentleman.

Great service and good food! Had a cup of creamy chicken and wild rice soup a 1/2 salad and the chipotle chicken with avocado panini

My friend picked up dinner tonight, could not wait to tell me about the gentleman at the counter and how great he was...i think Bill deserve a raise....not too often you encounter such pleasant service.

Everyone was friendly and fast service and always great food

Exceptional service, it was my favorite spot before was merged to Paradise Bakery.
