La Botana Grill - Tucson

The food at this restaurant was fantastic. The portion sizes were very generous for the price. I have been to other places where the portions were much smaller and cost the same. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last!

The burritos are delicious, the salsa bar is great, and the atmosphere is fun and casual.

The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, casual, and very relaxed, and the food was pretty to look at and satisfying to eat. I had combo 5 which came with 2 Sonoran-style hot dogs and a large portion of french fries, and with every order you get chips and a good selection from the salsa bar. I'd have uploaded a picture but I was too busy enjoying my food to take a photograph, so you'll just have to check it out and see the food in person.

Good place for lunch on my own or for a small group of friends anytime. Huge margaritas if you so desire. Good choices in salsa bar and decent menu of pretty standard tacos, burritos, salads, etc. My spouse especially likes the chicken tika. I'm particularly fond of the bean dip they bring with the chips. I've been to 3 locations and they are all good.

Really good little place to have Mexican food! very casual and clean. The menu is a little interesting to decipher as they use unusual names for the food. The barbacoa was delicious, and the gentleman at the front counter was super nice and helpful. Additionally, they have an outdoor patio that is away from the traffic so it would be nice to sit outside there on a warm day.
