The employees were friendly and service was prompt. The food was fresh and delicious which is impressive since we arrived 40 minutes before closing. I will be going back!
Sushi here was good other times we ate here. A bit over priced. What dropped the rating is the service. We walked in and all the tables had people but the Sushi bar was empty. Wait staff said they were full, sushi bar was closed, and we couldn't wait for a table. Crazy, but true! We probably won't be back here.
Great service and although the sushi is good, it's pricey and portion sizes are tiny. The rolls are all stuffed full of cucumber with very little fish. The rolls come in 5-8 pieces, 2 pieces for nagiri. They range from $4.95-12.95. In order for my husband and myself to get full we had to order 8 rolls and miso soup. The tuna was of good quality and the server was nice. We spent $100 for 1 soup, 1 beer, and 8 rolls. I only took a picture of the first 5 rolls
Truly is excellent food. All of it. Was very surprised as it is very hard to find good quality sushi these days around Tucson.Terrific
Very disappointed in the service received at this restaurant tonight. My friend and I got ripped off by our server. I ordered the cold sake which is a specific item on the menu with a specific price. It is important to note that no brand is listed next to cold sake on the menu, just a price. So I assume it is whatever they have in stock at the time. Well the server brought me two bottles and asked which I wanted. Now when you order a specific menu item and are brought two options you would assume they just had two brands in stock and they are the same price right? Wrong. She brought me one that ended up being double the price of the one we ordered on the menu. We did not learn this until we got the check at which time she felt she could tell us that we actually ordered the super expensive sake. I said that 's not what I said when I ordered and when you brought me the options. She just shrugged and offered so apologies or explanations. Extremely upset that I had to pay double what I was expecting with no idea. It is a huge shame because this is one of the few sushi restaurants on the east side and now I don 't want to go back because that server very clearly knew she was up charging us without our knowledge. Horrible business practice.
