Charrovida - Tucson

I ate here several years ago and it was very good. Today I took a friend there for brunch. We were seated right away, but it took 10 minutes for water. The OJ did not come until we asked again when the breakfast was served. I ordered my breakfast without cheese but it came with cheese. I did not want to send it back so I could avoid another extended waiting. Our breakfast were extremely salty. A bite of the scrambled eggs tasted bitter before of too much salt. When we were ready to pay, we could not find our waiter. I went to the front desk to see whether I could pay there. Nope. The hostess asked many questions about what our waiter looked like. Well, I could not remember all details she needed so she asked me to go back to the table to keep waiting. Finally another lady came by and asked what we needed and she was able to take my credit card.

So delicious! Everything we got was amazing. So fresh, and you can tell the food was made with love. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend anything with the habanero salsa, Brussel sprouts and the mint ice green tea.

We had dinner reservations tonight. Arrived on time, were seated at 6:30 and no one ever came to our table. We saw servers go to two different tables 2-3 times but no one came to our table. No one even made eye contact with us. They didn’t even bring water. It was not busy, there were plenty of open tables only 4-5 tables were full. Waited for 10 minutes then decided to leave. Person at the front didn’t acknowledge us as we walked out. So sad. Charro Vida, do better.

So, I forgot to get the bartender's name that worked tonight (Aug 1, 2024) but, thank you so much for your kind service and beyond amazing service. I have never been treating this kind prior to the restaurant closing time. They close at 8PM and I got there about 10 minutes or so before closing and they still served me and made me feel welcomed. Thank you so much. Always appreciate bartenders waitresses/waiters.. they making a living too -Coco Nicole Estef

Took my mom here for her birthday because of a friends recommendation. We had one of the nicest servers, I think her name was Natalia. Food was amazing and didn't take too long to come out. Definitely going again.
