$4.50 for a cup of coffee? Or even better, $4.50 for an espresso and water? There is no way an americano is worth $4.50, and espresso has less caffeine compared to other roasts and is typically enjoyed in the evening. They can easily go to a nearby coffee shop and get a large, freshly roasted coffee for $3. Their menu board without prices is useless. If you walk into a coffee house at 8 o'clock and there are more employees than customers, you should probably go somewhere else.

I recently moved to Tucson and decided to give Cartel Coffee Lab on Campbell Ave a try. I ordered the iced mocha with almond milk and it was absolutely delicious. I only wish I hadn't finished it so quickly. The atmosphere at the cafe is great and there is plenty of seating available.

The coffee extraction at this restaurant is impressive, thanks to their world-class espresso machine. Their attention to detail is evident, but some customers have noted that the coffee can be bitter at times.

A lot of space to sit. on the expensive side. some things that are worth it, some are not. the ones we tried bäck (poptart and bear claw) were ok. I wouldn't order her again, but would eat the bear claw if someone offered. I was not a fan of cookies and cream poptart, as it was not chocolate/sweet enough. I'll try next time. the honey lavender matcha was a bit expensive 7) but a decent amount and I enjoyed it so would get it back. the cappuccino was tiny, like half the size of my matcha, but not the half of the price at $5.75 definitiw won't get that again. was too strong and too expensive for the tiny cup. overall, great place to grab one of their larger drinks and study, work, chat, etc. if they want more food / more than a drink, it will be expensive.

I swear to you, people of Google, that this gem of a coffee shop, this ShangriLa in the midst of local coffee.. Cartel Roasting Co. Makes the best cup of drip coffee I have ever enjoyed. The vibe is cool and the baristas are friendly (tip them). I come here once a week with a friend to work on a project, and I love it every time.
