Waffle House - Tucker

Waffle House is... Well, it 's Waffle House! If you go there expecting a 4 course prime rib dinner, you are going to be disappointed. The food is simple and well prepared and their waffles are pretty incredible!As for this particular location, I have been here on several occasions during different shifts and the service has been prompt with little to no fuss. The overnight crew is my favorite and there is one cook on day shift (I can 't remember his name but he 's been a WaHo cook for decades) that pumps out some of their best meals!I can 't get enough of their diced, capped. and covered hashbrowns (get it in a bowl with double diced chicken and thank me later)!The restaurant is kept relatively clean. HOWEVER, on a couple occasions, I 've changed seats because the table or counter wasn 't wiped down after the previous customer... AND, on one occasion, I had a roach try to share my space at the counter!!Even with the shortcomings, I still recommend Waffle House especially when you are hungry (late at night) and on a budget.Parking at this location is easy and you can still find a decent spot when they are busy!Parking: Always easy to find a great spot!

My order was completely wrong. I ordered an All-Star with sausage scrambled eggs no cheese I got scrambled eggs with cheese. I got hashbrowns instead of grits and I got cheese in the grits. I live too far to be bringing it back to get the order right and then the guy was so adamant when IMy order was completely wrong. I live too far to be bringing it back to get the order right and then the guy was so adamant when I asked about a drink, there was no refills on a to go order I sat there for the longest and I didn’t mind paying for another refill on the drink, but the way he made me feel it was just horrible. I’m very displeased with my order.

Ken (server) and Danny (the Rockstar grill master) were amazing. Best Waffle House we’ve ever been to. On a family vacation and have visited here twice. Food cooked PERFECTLY by Danny. Super friendly service from Ken. She’s super nice!

I would give it half a star. The bacon was burnt, and the pieces that weren't burnt were not cooked.
