Good pizza, but the timings are wrong, I turned around a quarter to 10 on a Friday and they were closed, tried to get the closing time of the staff still there, so I knew for the future, but for some reason they were disgusting and would not give me the time and laugh about me. very strange.
I had the rustic vegan and it was very good. super thin chest, good amount of sweet and daiya cheeze. would go again.
Pieology is a newer chain of pizza restaurants. the premise is like chipotle. they begin with a choice of the crust (white, full wheat, or gluten free.) the white and full wheat are vegan, insecure of gf. the crust is about 12 round, perfect for 1. next pick them up their sauce, we have 1 with red sauce and 1 with bbq, both start with a brush olive oil. we decided not to try a cheese on one and daiya vegan mozz added to the other. I remember when pieology first opened, they did not have this option, so they must be open to the feedback, and I am glad that they added it, maybe they will be open to add field sausage or tofurkey pfefferoni in the future. it's a bummer that it's $2 to add daiya, but maybe running the time could change. next they get to get their veggies, and they are unlimited and none of them cost all upgrade fees. we added both 4-5 toppings. the red sauce that we left without cheese, and the sosse was not up, almost as if there was no season. the cake was still good and satisfying. the BBQ pipe we added the daiya, and it was really good, but at the end the sauce was a bit palp. at about $8 per pizza it is a nice option to have, especially if they are in the suburbs and just wait for traffic to die a little down.
I still think a groll against pieology because I mistakenly ate her original crust that it was vegan a back (which was my fault not to check; I got them confused with mod pizzas that have a similar device, but their crust is actually vegan; plus, piology’s crust earlier vegan, like most crusts! . Their only vegan crust is the gluten-free, which costs $3 extra. While I am glad that they have something for our gluten-free crackers, I am convinced that I have to pay extra to avoid the milk and then with a huge crack. their original thin and thick crusts have milk components, and their flower coal contains milk and eggs (not that I was particularly interested in a flower coal). ironically, their garlic crimped butter mixture seems to be vegan (not containing milk / eggs per the Allergen instruction, perhaps fact check that for itself. Overall I found her menu (especially in-store made it difficult to build a vegan pizza. they have daiya (ol' reliable but friendly mediocre and plant-based meatballs/aussage (which I don't vouch for, not a fan of faux meat in general). I prefer mod pizza for vegan crust/ sauce taste/ease of order. updated by previous review on 2022-09-24
