Taverna Mari Bakuriani - Tskhinvali

Loved this cozy family owned restaurant and bar. Great hospitality and every dish was amazing! Glad we found this little gem, with love from Canada!

Beautiful restaurant opposite to the main activities park in Bakiriani. The small establishment was converted from the owners house to this restaurant, and it’s filled with his medals from his skiing career wins and animal skins that he hunted back in the years. Food is delicious and doesn’t take long time despite the fact that the restaurant is almost busy. Not many staff work here so probably will take longer to prepare food when it is.

Very good atmosphere and tasty food, the lamb was amazing. Good wine as well.

Very good food, i mean one of the best restaurants that hosted us in Georgia. Boss and his son are taking care of all customers and they are so nice ! We tried a lot of dishes and all were top level, but Cucumber salad with walnuts is AMAZING , then we tried 3 soups and all were delicious, their semi-sweet red homemade wine from kachetia is one of the best we tried in Georgia : You should definitly visit this place when You visit bakuriani !
