The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is top-notch. The Beijing Duck at this restaurant is incredibly tasty!

After several unsuccessful visits, we decided to give up on this restaurant. It's hard to understand how it has received a 2-star rating. The service was slow, taking 20 minutes just to place our order, and they were out of some of the items we wanted. After some prompting, the sommelier finally showed us a better wine list. They were also out of the soup of the day, but offered us two off-menu items that were decent. Unfortunately, those were the only positive food experiences we had. We had come for crispy chicken, but they were out of it. We ended up ordering chicken in salt, but were served chicken in sauce instead. When we sent it back, they still attempted to serve the rest of the meal without the main course. The crispy pork in honey glaze we ordered was a large portion meant for more people, but the meat was chewy and nothing like crispy pork. We were informed while eating that it was actually the chicken in salt. The manager was unhelpful and made us feel unwelcome when we requested the crispy pork chops in five flavors. The dish looked nothing like the menu image and tasted awful. To top it off, they charged us for soup and a diet coke we didn't order. After discussing our experience with the hotel manager, we highly recommend avoiding this restaurant. We prefer the food at our Chinese restaurant back in the USA. We also plan on informing Michelin about this disappointing experience.

The good: quiet. That’s it. Food was really average, unimpressed would be an understatement. Especially the teppayaki, you could have much better one at a random street spot in Japan. Given the price, will definitely NOT come back.

Great tasting Japanese food, with friendly and attentive staff. the seating is quiet and comfortable. highly recommended!
