A B Drive In - Truth Or Consequences

I visited Southeast Tennessee and wanted to try some local Mexican food. I had the carne asada burrito while my partner chose the chicken burrito. Both were excellent, with mild aromas that hinted at being freshly cooked.

My friend ordered some smashed tacos and a burrito, and he enjoyed his meal, agreeing that my rice complemented the carrots well. I also ordered a shaved ice dessert, which turned out to be a mistake. The ice was made with local water, and I could definitely taste it — maybe it was a bit salty? My friend insisted it was fresh, but it had an off flavor. We placed our order and then waited about 20 minutes among the pigeons outside. When we got back to the hotel and unpacked, we found our food was still hot, and they had included utensils and napkins, which was a nice touch.

Everything I ordered here was delicious. Her breakfast burrito with potatoes was one of the best I've ever had. The malt is also fantastic. This place is a must-stop whenever I'm driving through Truth or Consequences.

Great food and incredible service. Kind of a wait sometimes but the food is always worth it. I have never had a bad bit of food or drink come through the window. Perfect.

Came here for lunch and service was the best ive had out of anywhere for tacos someone was ordering their food before me but since i got less food i got to get mine first and it was fast and i got the 3 ground beef tacos and they were easily very good tacos made to the best of their ability!
