Sanpeggio's Pizza - Trussville

I had higher expectations for this restaurant. We ordered a pizza and a salad, but our experience was disappointing. The staff seemed more interested in their phones than attending to customers, and we felt neglected while waiting. The salad greens were neither fresh nor properly prepared, and the dressing was watered down. When our pizza arrived, I took a few bites before I noticed that the employees, while wearing gloves, were touching the cooler, pizza toppings, and various surfaces without ever changing or sanitizing their gloves. That was unacceptable, so we decided to stop eating and left to get some fried chicken instead. Food safety, hygiene, and quality are crucial for any restaurant, and unfortunately, this place didn't meet those standards. I won't be returning for pizza.

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life! I ordered a large cheese with extra cheese, and it was amazing.

The staff was非常 friendly, and it's been a while since I last visited, so I had forgotten just how great this place is. Our pizza was fantastic! I've had their pasta, calzone, and subs before, and they were all delicious. The only improvement I would suggest for their food is to wipe off their crust a bit, as it can be a little greasy. They can be pricey if you don’t have a promo code or don’t order one of their specials, but the quality definitely justifies the cost.

I worked in the area and wanted really Italian food today. I stopped by @11am hoping to taste the lasagna Greek salad. There was only one man working, and he told me I had to wait 30-45 minutes to take my order because he made 20 pizzas of himself for a call... BUMMER? I had to go somewhere else. It would have been nice to have extra help to cover lunch crowd at the store.

I was greeted by nice staff upon entering the restaurant and ordered a personal pan~ pepperoni and mushroom with extra sauce. The price was fair and slightly cheaper compared to other restaurants, and it only took about 10-12 minutes to cook and packaged. The pizza itself was great! The pepperoni was crisp and crunchy, with stretchy cheese (the best kind) and deliciously flavored marinara sauce. The bread had a nice brown and had a nice crunch. The only downside to this pizza was that it was very greasy, but that?s pretty much inevitable to when making any pizza because cheese naturally has grease in it. Overall, I had a nice experience at the store and the pizza itself was great.
