SOUP Cafe - Truro

We often eat lunch at the Soup Cafe...excellent waitress plus a friendly staff...inviting atmosphere....different daily choices plus a menu...daily choices can be viewed on Facebook....I would recommend anyone to plan a visit.

SOUP cafe is a mental health initiative. The food is all home made and delicious and gives peoples skills to reenter the workforce. Enjoy a wonderful lunch and make the world a better place - all at the same time!

As soon as I open the door I was greeted with a hello the way the lady behind the counter said you can sit anywhere within few moments she was over to the table and telling me about the specials of the day that included soup quiche the sandwich of the day all under $7 wow I said Wow what a great deal for beverages they also have soda pop floats, tea //coffee Coke>Pepsi..etc.. I ordered the club sandwich which came probably within 3 minutes and a bowl of fresh beefy rice vegetable soup the texture of the vegetables in the beefy rice soup was great I recommend this restaurant if you're in Truro for a meal under $10 for one person with a beverage, soup and sandwich I even recommend the lovely desserts including Strawberry Shortcake that day but they have pies and cookies and other desserts too if you're in downtown. Monday-Friday between 11 and 3 for the soup on Cafe

We were able to stop into the soup cafe yesterday and it was a treat. The server we had was awesome and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The food was so delicious and came out so fast. Everything was home made. I had a chicken clubhouse sandwich with the mulligatawny soup. My wife had the mulligatawny soup and the quiche. We both loved our meals and capped it off with a hot fudge brownie..yum!!All in all, Truro is a really cool town and our experience at Soup Cafe was top notch!!

The food at SOUP Cafe is incredible. There isn't a huge menu, but you don't need a lot of selection when the food is so good! The quiche is a favourite for me ... and pizza soup is a must try! Check their Facebook page daily for the menu. :)
