Charlotte's Teahouse - Truro

My first time in charlottes. I went with a group of people from penryn camera club and eating, personal, building and cleanliness were all excellent. Waiting times were acceptable and the personal checked regularly that we had everything we wanted. the waitress even chased an escaped woof! prices were appropriate, especially given the quality of food. I will go back, can't praise higher than that.

Beautiful tea room with staff dressed in Victorian style, the service is exceptional with lovely cakes on display. If you're lucky enough to get a window table, you'll have a beautiful view of one of Truro's main roads. The service is fast and friendly, and the cakes are delicious. I have been coming here for many years and Truro is a beautiful city. This tea room is a gem. Five stars from me.

This tea room is beautifully decorated and exquisite! We absolutely loved our experience here. The staff all wear period dress, which adds to the charming atmosphere and feels like stepping back in time. Our pots of Tregothnan tea and Lemonmelisse were perfect, and the two employees who seated and served us were very courteous. As a bonus, Charlotte also has a book room with a selection of second-hand books for sale at great prices, which was perfect for us book lovers. A hidden gem in the heart of Truro! We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Cornwall.

I had tea and cake this afternoon, and the cake was delicious. The lady who served us was fantastic - she was polite and beautifully dressed. I definitely want to visit again.
