Yaak River Tavern - Troy

The tavern is a great spot. If you find yourself in Yaak, you should stop here. The staff is friendly and the food and drinks are good. They have a coffee bar now too!

Love the Tavern however the older woman who works there is not a pleasant person at all. Every time we go up to the Tavern and she is working, she is on the rude side, acts extremely put out to wait on us even to the point of acknowledging we are even there. She acts extremely put out to do her job unless you are a friend of hers. We love going to the Tavern, we always take our visiting family and friends there, however when she is working it definitely dampens the Tavern experience

Best hamburgers! Patties are handmade. The crispy chicken sandwich is also highly recommended. Super tasty. Beautiful back patio too. Thanks for the great service.

Super cool place to go when your just out for a Sunday drive went got some drinks and chips and let the kids swim has a rope swing and a bridge to jump off

The staff are friendly, the drinks are strong and they have a suprisingly good beer and drink selection. We were here several times over a couple of days, mostly for drinks and one night for supper. What a wonderful place to hang out on a hot afternoon we sat at the bar for awhile and then sat on the back deck for a few drinks to watch all the various birds. We played horseshoes and stepped cautiously around the bear scat in between the horseshoe pits. We had supper one night when it was very busy and only one server. Our burgers came out fairly quickly. The burgers were just average but there were a few other things on the menu that show they are also trying to step up from just bar food. They seem to have a lot of young staff cooking/bartending and they do a great job. We will be back for another lazy afternoon and to go deeper into the menu.
