Sakai Japanese Bistro - Troy

It was Father's Day, and the service was exceptional. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is simply incredible—everything we sampled was absolutely delightful. This is definitely one of the best Japanese bistros I've been to. Highly recommended!

Admittedly, the prices here are a bit higher, but the quality of the food justifies it. This is a restaurant you might want to visit occasionally to try something new, which is exactly what I look for in a dining experience—especially considering it’s a bit of a drive for those of us near Dayton. It’s definitely worth the trip!

This restaurant is fantastic, with wonderful staff who know our usual orders because we visit so often. I always get the curry, while my girlfriend enjoys the Soft Shell Crab and Gyoza. It’s the closest place to my home in Tip City where I can satisfy my curry cravings, which is my absolute favorite food. I highly recommend this spot! They offer sushi, ramen, and a variety of other Japanese and Asian dishes too. Although none of the staff seem to be Japanese, which is a little disappointing, they are still incredibly friendly. While it may not be Coco Ichibanya in Asakusa, the curry here is still amazing. My girlfriend can't get enough of the Soft Shell Crab!

Fried rice was a little clear. I'd rather have mixed more carrots and peas with him. Apart from the rice that was a little clear, the food was very good. It was cooked quickly. There was no engagement from the cook, which was also a relaxed entertainment style.

Super place for Japanese food. This was probably the best hibachi I have ever had, and I had a very good sushi appetizer. The service was very friendly and very efficient.
