Dal Barone Food&drink - Tropea

Located in a splendid location. Small but well organised. The sandwich is of good quality, the bread is fresh and the ingredients are excellent, but it is cold, the mozzarella is not stringy, it has just been cut and put there, the pulled pork is cold, only one of the sandwiches are saved, the one with the hamburger which has been plated and therefore hot. It's really a shame, such a beautiful place deserved more passion and more attention. The price is a little high.

Great cozy restaurant in the middle of Tropea. We only drank some so we can't rate the food. Service was very accommodating and nice, although you can't go wrong with cola and beer. However, when you reach 10€ for the Aperol Spritz then you know that there are enough tourists in the area ‍ 1 star deducted because I didn't get the espresso but it was charged. Unfortunately I didn't notice it at the moment. Price per person: €1–10

Bar located right in the center, staff friendliness was okay. Not noticeably friendly but not unfriendly either. We had already found bars that were cheaper. Price per person: €10–20 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We discovered this fantastic bar which has become our point of reference during all our August holidays in Tropea! The guys are very kind and very nice, they also make really good drinks, their aperitifs are excellent, and the cuisine for a quick bite is also not bad! Sensational price quality and location near the view, truly beautiful! I've tried all the bars in the historic center of Tropea, but for me, they are absolutely the best! We will definitely see each other again next year! Five well-deserved stars, highly recommended!

A tease for the whole time, I order a ginseng, which is on the menu, but they tell me that the cafeteria closes at 11pm, it was about midnight, and that's fine...so I order a white martini with ice, they bring me something that doesn't it's a martini bianco...so I get up, go to the bar and say that that's not the drink I ordered, they answer me that in fact they don't have a martini bianco and that independently, without even telling me, they had given me a Gold martini. In the meantime, we had also ordered a lagavulin, my friend is uncertain about that too, he thinks it's something else, but he decides to drink it anyway. Going to the cash register he asks out of curiosity if they have lagavulin and tac, they don't have it... he points it out and they give us a miserable discount. Not recommended, very high prices for a terrible service!
