Piteros Klimataria - Tripoli

I am really surprised that I have no food photos of this place! it is honestly my favorite restaurant in tripolis. Our family has been here for at least 7 years. we're in the summer and eat outside. the outside terrace is covered and very large. the inner is beautiful and cozy with a fireplace. it serves traditional food, arcadian traditional cuisine. top hits are the xorta perivolisia seasonal greens cooked with tomato and fresh crumbles, another is the hahn with hilopites. it is really hard for me to try other dishes because I always order the same things! however I usually go with my family, so there are 4 other people order! hubby has ordered wild boar steak, bifteki. my children have avgolemono, makaronia me kima, souvlaki (it is huge! and mosxari kokkinisto to name some. Wait- last time I have actually ordered the salt meadow with laeks - very tasty, although salt meadow is not really my favorite (I have tried to be healthy. wein is in order, brot is amazing. they also usually give something sweet at the end of the meal.

I tried Piteros because of a friend's recommendation but I also checked it out in trip advisor. It was a really nice place with kind stuff and many vegan option that I really liked. Hope to visit again next year!

I'm from Canada. My Theo who is a local took me here. Incredible place. Amazing food. Felt like I was in a tavern from the 1800s. Such a cool place with amazing food.

It is traditional greek restaurant. Their homemade food is tasted and it is very greeky style. They have good lamb and pork. The salad that we ordered, i dont like it so much.

Very nice atmosphere, amazing surroundings, great variety of food but chef could try to bbq the meat a little bit juicier!
