Our friends recommended this place for rabbit fish as the best fish they’ve ever tasted. They were not wrong! This little spot with friendly hosts leaves a great impression, the fish was delicious, even the skin! They even put beers in beer holders that’s a nice touch. It’s a quiet place along the coast with a breeze. Such a pleasant experience!
Easily the best meal we had in Mauritius. If you’re looking for super fresh fish and local vibes served by the friendliest couple you can imagine this is the place for you. Prices are fair and are listed on the wall. They only sell the freshest fish so you never know exactly what he will have that day. We had the lobster, shrimps in pepper and white tuna curry. Every dish was outstanding. We hung out with the owner for hours sharing stories and beers. (Also try the homemade vanilla rum). They even brought out some instruments and played some classic Mauritian music. Amazing experience. Go!!

This is such a special place. Food is exquisite so tasty and fresh. We visited 3 times during a week. Best fish we've ever eaten by far. Loved all meals fish curry, grilled white tuna, grilled parrot fish and the fried calamari. Wish we had more time to visit again and try more. Will be back when we visit the island again.
