The Peaks - Trinidad

Huge burgers! The bartender crafts some excellent drinks. The televisions above the bar make it one of the top spots to catch a game in Trinidad. The service can lag a bit between 5 and 6, but it’s not too bad. Honestly, the burgers are really impressive.

The experience wasn't perfect, but the service made a significant difference. The customer service was excellent, and our waiter, David, was outstanding. My tea glass was always full. I did take away a star for the steak, which was a bit on the dry side. However, the fresh mushrooms and onions were truly delightful. We were also offered extra rolls without having to ask for them. Did I mention that my tea glass was never empty?

The service was good. The burger was decent, but the home-style fries could have been fresher. The beer on tap was fresh and cold. We sat in the back near the salad bar, and the service door squeaked so loudly that I almost went out and bought some WD-40. That noise would drive me crazy if I had to deal with it every day!

A very nice full service restaurant at Holiday Inn Hotel in Trinidad, Colorado. This is a convenient location because the hotel is actually outside the city. The Peaks offers a complete service menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. Plus, happy hour at the bar. Children under 12 eat free. And if you are a hotel guest and prefer to eat in your room in your jammies, they also offer room service. For easy payment, guests' food checks can be linked to their hotel bill. Reservations are not required and you do not have to be a hotel guest to eat there. Parking is connected to the hotel and is just outside. The peaks are open daily from 6 am to 10 pm. The menu is American food, from pizza and hamburgers to steak. A salad bar is also available. The lounge is open daily from 3-11. We have eaten there several times during the stay at the hotel and not disappointed. The servers are friendly and willing to make your stay pleasant.

This bar is in the Holiday Inn and Suites in Trinidad, Co. I opened this Hotel and Bar back in 2008. Great hotel bar. Food is great. Say hello to Victoria the Food and Beverage Manager who has been there since we opened it. I was up there a year ago last August 2018 and the place still rocks.
