The place is really local and lovely. The owner is nice and is pite of the fact he cannot really speak English his joyful and kind personality keeps you there. The seafood is amazing, the portion of the food is unexpectedly large and delicious. The price is unbelievably worth it! Go there and try it! You will fall in love with it in a second! One of the best food in Trieste! Thank you for that!

Went a couple of days before for a drink so tried food only had main meal absolutely divine wife calamari done italian way egg/ flour not uk way ie loads of batter little calamari i had mixed seafood platter (just like photo in previous review razor clams ,calamari, cockles ,clams, prawns in a light garlic and parsley reduction grilled sword fish steak mixed salad and chips like thick crisps unpeeled potatoes gorgeous . best fish i have ever eaten would have licked the plate if at home .the owner used to be a local fisherman so he knows his fish. coffee as usual in Italy excellent 24pounds you know Tripadvisor is great for weeding out the poor places as well as the good ones this ones good.already recommended to family. Poor parking as is the whole of this beautifull city if you are in city do try here it is excellent not posh but spot on

Beh che dire, l'ho scoperto a caso su Google ed è stata una delle più belle scoperte di sempre! Prezzi più che onesti e porzioni esagerate. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti (buonissime le alici in savour), un primo per una persona (ma ci mangiano benissimo persone), dei buoni spaghetti allo scoglio (super condita) e un ottimo branzino al forno con patate. Il tutto pagando È il classico locale che visto da fuori non daresti un euro (esteticamente parlando), invece è proprio in locali come questi che bisogna andare per pagare il giusto e mangiare tanto. Consigliato!

Abito in via d Azeglio quindi vicino al locale ma ho sempre preso da asporto. Il pesce è fresco , cucinato bene e le porzioni sono belle grandi . Lo consiglio
