L'osteria Trier Im Posthof

We had the most awful experience at this restaurant. To start, we ordered a bottle of wine which tasted like sh*t, super super sweet and when we told the Waiters they asked us what we wanted instead,on the house (afterwards we had to pay for...the wine ánd the extra drinks) We ordered anti pasta as a starter to share, this came after the first two dishes, which were all tasteless. The pizza had shrimps on them that looked like they Came straight from The freezer. The anti pasta was just a mix of things originated from Italy on a plate, the Taste however, was disgusting and absent. Furthermore the food was not tasteful at all and we paid euros, would NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant AT ALL

All Corona safety measures are very well respected, not always the case in others restaurants... Staff is friendly and polite, really nothing to complain about ! Pizzas are indeed absolutely hugh and amazing, but also very affordable. Do not hesitate to share, because pizza...is really too much for person... You can have different half pizzas on plates, and you only pay the price of the most expensive one. (offer written in small letters at the bottom of the menu). Prices are fair in my opinion, L'OSTERIA is certainly a big competition for others local restaurants. Location : very central and strategically placed, but kind of hidden too. Hence all valuable excellent Tripadvisors reviews : It was our first try there but we will definitely go back !

Service at L’Osteria is on the slow side, but, once you receive it, the nosh is well worth the wait. My wife and I shared a Caprese salad and a large mushroom pizza. Both were very good. We sat outside — the evening air was...warm enough — because it was very noisy inside.

I visited twice on a mixed business/weekend away trip with my wife recently. The pizza was very good and massive one is enough for two really. The food was good, the venue is nicely decorated, it is in a central location. The one bad...point is that service is a bit haphazard. Hard to get waiters attention. Asking for dessert menu and no-one coming back to take or ask whether i wanted to order. It was busy one of the nights so understandable, but on my second visit it was not and that was where no-one came to ask did i want a dessert after waiting for some time in hope i gave up, eventually managed to catch an eye and motion for the bill and thus they lost a little bit of business that quiet night pity as otherwise the food was good.

This is our favorite pizza joint! We go almost weekly and get pizza and wine. If you are looking for delicious pizza and a great atmosphere this is the place! They even have a small desk with a dough for kids to play with.
