Huddle House - Trenton

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! The red-haired woman who served us was outstanding—she made sure our drinks were always full and really brought a positive energy to the place. She deserves a raise for her excellent service! Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

We stopped by for lunch, but my spouse was disappointed to find out they were out of brown gravy and mac and cheese, so he ended up not ordering anything. I tried the $5.99 BLT special, which was decent. However, while we were almost finished, a mouse ran out, which was a bit alarming. Overall, we won't be coming back here again. I love this waffle house. all these years, I've been ordering two orders of hash browns to ensure I get my two slices of cheese because when you order a double, only get one slice of cheese. The lady, my waitress, let me know that I could order it with a double cover, I think she said and it's actually cheaper than ordering two separate orders of hash browns. Meal type: Breakfast

A horrible experience! The food was terrible. I ordered a burger with french fries. I ended up getting tator tots instead. So they put in the order for my fries and brought back to me white (not kidding fries. No color on them at all. (See picture below. Their excuse was because they had just put in new grease in the fryer and they didn't brown which is absolutely absurd. I'm a cook. I know better. But I didn't complain because it wouldn't have made a difference. The burgers were so small they were almost non-existent. Thin thin thin, torn up, and cooked so long they were hard to chew. We've dined at a Huddle House in New Orleans and it was great. That's why we went to this particular Huddle House. I don't see this place being open too much longer.
