The standout dish of the day was a superbly cooked stuffed rabbit. But the salt cod mousse on crispy polenta, the salad of cured arctic char, and a pumpkin flan were certainly not far behind. And the desserts once again showcased the real flair of the chef for the genre. A notable feature of this osteria/ristorante is the vast wine list. The manager/owner is an expert sommelier who will give you any information you may wish to have. The room with dark wood and vaulted ceilings is pleasant and warm, service is friendly, and so are the prices, both for food and for wine.
Libertino is always the perfect solution after a tough weak or a heavy day. Thanks to the high food quality and the kindness of the owners, a dinner becomes a special moment to share with your beloved ones. Ps. I recommend their Tartare:
I am never disappointed at Il Libertino, but this time I 'm even giving top marks since the meal I had stood out in the Osteria category for the quality and value combination. One of the best dishes of the meal was a velvety, very tasty and balanced Jerusalem artichoke soup/cream. With a less intense focus on a dominant flavour, chestnut and potatoes ravioli-like pasta mezzelune , half-moons) were also more than pleasant especially the texture) Mains, a traditional salt-cod soaked in milk and an extraordinarily tender rabbit, were both excellent. But the stunner was the ending: a simple chestnut mousse with persimmon coulis a classic over here) packed an incredible flavour, enhanced by a brilliant touch of peppery hit. The wine list is one of the best and comprehensive for local wines) in Trentino, and it 's also very well-priced. Prices for food are equally reasonable and stunning value in view of the quality. The couple running this restaurant are kind and very no-nonsense: they are not charmers, but simply very admirable professionals.

Found this restaurant through the slow food osterie guide, the restaurant is simple and pleasant. the menu includes courses both of meat and fish of the tradition, I loved sausage potato turtel and braised cheek but all we got was cooked to perfection! I liked that in every dish the cook put edible flowers! being the owner a great sommelier, the wine card is exceptional and every tried wine was fantastic! prices are absolutely in the norm, especially for wines. recommended!
