L’escale Trattoria Wine - Tremezzo

We loved this restaurant and two nights in a row. Both were different experiences. In the first night we were inside and the restaurant was stylish and had a great atmosphere food was amazing. In the second night we sat at the bar to the front-dinner drink overlooking the lake, which was beautiful and then sat outside for another amazing dinner and idyllic surroundings. The staff was very attentive and helpful in the selection. We recommend a visit.

Asked for a special romantic table due to the 10. wedding anniversary no special welcome or reference made to the request. Slow service despite half empty 15 minutes before the menu instructions. Eat too salty, bad service not asked how was meal, not even a coffee, the worst food and service offered at all.

3 tableside presentations! Steak tartar, cacio e pepe and tiramasu! Incred ambiance too. Dont miss this place

We had a reservation but they decided on the same evening that they close the restaurant maybe because it was to quiet or Italy was playing in the Semifinals of the European Championship? and they never led us know. And the concierge of the 5 Star Grand Hotel what 5 Stars??? not even apologized. Maybe you should consider another restaurant or hotel. Menaggio has super alternatives:
