Server Brian was excellent, but the food was hit and miss. Greek salads, seafood rolls, fried calamari and pollock sandwich, sancerre, all hits. But my torched scallop roll was extremely hot (spicy , at or past my limit, so be advised about that. Fried clams were not overdone, yay, a rarity at many places, but meh as to flavor, said one party connoisseur. Crabcake was heavy on the crab but a piece of shell marred it. (It happens. My own highpoint, octopus, was a fine starter with wonderful vegetables and sauces but just insanely salty. I really wanted to rinse everything. I *could* blame that tapenade, possibly the saffron aioli, but I also felt the wonderfully charred tentacle itself had been brined and more. Way too much even by the sodium bomb standards of restaurants today. So if any of this resonates, tell them to hold or restrain salt when you order

Consistently prepared fresh seafood--that is why anyone chooses Legal--and Legal Seafood Braintree doesn't disappoint. It is the most reliable choice for a restaurant meal in the South Shore Plaza area. That said, there is a tendency to oversalt the sides and the sound level is off the charts. Don't expect to be able to carry on a conversation at normal voice levels.

Easy RSVP. Able to adjust of guests while keeping my time slot. Host seated us right on time. Food came out fresh and delish! Waitress was attentive and kind. The whole party enjoyed the meal and took advantage of Legal's lobster meal deal! Perfect evening out!

I went for the Celtics Celebration win for their 18th banner. I had the steamed Lobster with boiled corn and potatoes. It was delicious and all for $18. I also had a Mango lemon drop martini that was deliciously AMAZING just like the lobster.

My friend and I visited on the Boston Celtics parade day and were so thrilled with the promotion of a full steamed lobster dinner for only $18. We jumped at the chance! It was just amazing. The food was served promptly and perfect temperature, and the lobster was to die for! We both enjoyed this impromptu lunch!
