Went today with my friend for a pot of tea. The weather was lovely so we sat outside in the gardens. It is a wonderful place with wonderful gardens. I went for a wonder in my electric Wheelchair) Very family friendly and if you love Cream teas they do lovely ones here. BEDWELLTY HOUSE IS VERY WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY TOO.
Went on Easter Sunday as the COVID travel restrictions were lifted recently. The house itself was closed and we didn’t go inside but the cafe was still open which was serving snacks and drinks outdoors without the need to go inside and I was impressed with the vegan gluten free options. there was lots of signs pointing out the fascinating history of this place and made the visit that little bit better and also the landscape itself is very well looked after and stunning. Would recommend going if you haven’t already
I had a wonderful experience at this large park and will definitely return! The park features magnificent trees, beautiful plants, and impressive sculptures. Due to COVID, we didn't go inside the house, but that didn't take away from the experience. We had to park a bit further away since only disabled parking was available near the park. We enjoyed some lovely coffee, cake, and sandwiches that were beautifully presented.
In total, our group consisted of about 20 children, along with their adults. Jolly took us on a delightful tour of the park, where we went on a quest to find the Elf carpenter. The storytelling and costumes were fantastic, keeping the children captivated and entertained throughout. I highly recommend this experience to everyone—it was so enjoyable that I think the adults might have had just as much fun, if not more, than the kids!
